The Bird Group of Companies is a family owned organisation with interests in property, manufacturing, leisure and wholesale. Based in Warwickshire, the company has business interests the UK and overseas. Honours include the Queen’s Award for Export and the Prince of Wales Award for Technology & Innovation. Managing Director Anthony P. Bird was made an O.B.E. for services to the environment. The family give their support to public projects including the restoration of Stoneleigh Abbey. They champion environmental issues such as world recycling and are actively involved in such bodies as the CBI, Stratford Town Management Partnership and local school boards.
